Recreation Tires - Policies, Terms and Conditions

Return/Exchange Policy

Recreation Tires will allow any item to be returned for a refund or exchange on the merchandise within 30 days of purchase as long as the following criteria is met:

1. The merchandise must be returned in NEW (mint) condition as it was received.  Returned items cannot show evidence of being mounted, wear of any kind or blemishes of any kind.

2. Returned merchandise must be securely packaged and insured.  Recreation Tires is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.  Insure merchandise for its full retail value.  Do NOT send C.O.D. Recreation Tires will not accept C.O.D. returns.

3. A Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) must accompany and be labeled on the box. This can be obtained by calling or e-mailing us.

4. All shipping charges must be paid for by the customer. (We recommended insuring your shipment in the event it does not reach us).

5. A 20% restocking fee may apply.

6. There are no returns on custom items, sale items or special orders.

Support

Recreation Tires is pleased to offer any support we can on the products. Please contact us with any questions you may have. If we do not have an answer we will get one to you with all possible speed.

Warrantee

Recreation Tires honors the manufacturers warrantee agents defects.  Shipping costs are not covered in the warrantee.

Change/Cancel Orders

You may request a change/cancellation to your order, provided your order has not already been processed and shipped.  Please call during business hours to change your order. Please have your order number ready.  Please never request a change/cancellation order via Email as we may not receive it in time.

Security

All on-line transactions are sent through our secure server and encrypted with 128-bit technology. Your information is protected with the highest level of security.

Privacy

Recreation Tires respects your privacy. We will not under any circumstances sell or release your information to anyone. All of the information obtained from our web site will be used for processing purposes only. The only e-mail you will receive from Recreation Tires are updates to any recent orders, purchase points updates or if you have selected to receive our products updates/news.

Payment

Recreation Tires accepts the following payment methods: Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express & PayPal.  C.O.D. is accepted only via our 800.858.4737 phone number.  C.O.D. fees will apply.

Recreation Tires offers UPS & USPS shipping methods.

Processing Time

Orders are usually shipped the same day if received by Noon Mountain Time Monday - Friday.  Orders received on the weekends or holidays will be shipped the next business day.  The only reason a shipment will not occur in this time frame is if the items are on backorder or if there is a payment issue.  We will try our hardest to inform you if anything is on backorder via e-mail or telephone.

Order Status

Recreation Tires will do everything possible to keep you informed of your order via e-mail. Your tracking number will be emailed to you once the item is shipped.  If for some reason you don't receive a tracking number via e-mail please call.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is only required for orders shipping within our resident state of business. Therefore, all orders shipping within Utah will be charged the applicable sales tax according to the current tax rate.

Tire Wheel Kits

The tire wheel kits are listed by bike with there original hub.  Recreation Tires will not be liable for shipping on items that do not have the original hub (bolt pattern).

If your bike is not listed under the tire wheel kits that doesn't mean we can't get a kit for it.  It just means that it isn't in our list of bikes.  Give us a call and we'll let you know if there are wheels available for your bike.
